What is your reaction to the discovery of King Tutankhamuns tomb?
Well, after they found King Tut, the world got hooked on Ancient Egyptian-style art and design: You can find jewellery, ceramics, furniture, books, etc. from the mid-1920s which all owe a debt to the discovery of this (minor) Pharaoh. People were amazed at how rich the treasure was and a bit blown-away by the fact that this fantastic hoard had survived untouched for many centuries when the tombs of all the important rulers, like Ramses, had been looted.
