I want something safe for my daughter but also good on gas. Let me know if you have one and what you think of it please! A: Size does not matter in safety. That is a myth. For example, Many Pickup trucks and SUV’s fail the side crast test ratings, but have great front and back crash test ratings. And some new compact cars get better safety reviews than SUV’s and trucks. The Saturn Vue is a great choice. The Saturn Vue and Ford Escape/Mazda Tribute are the most fuel efficient SUV’s. The Saturn has a smooth ride and seems luxurious.
