What is your level of involvement in the Metrakit MiniGp World Festival?
Less than I’d like to boast. I just bring Americans and help with the event. We are the furthest away. The number of riders you send over seems to fluctuate, what determines the number of riders that go to Spain? 5 qualify but not all five can afford to go even though this year we got $4700.00 towards the trip. The US team always seems to be behind in performance when they head to Spain. This year it seemed were more sorted, what changed? Is your team just getting better or has your rider’s preperation changed? Americans have always done very well there. In every case they are racing on unfamiliar new tracks on new/borrowed equipment. The level of racer has increased each year in the USA. Rey Dominguez qualified to race in Almeria 2004 and now in Valencia 2005. The more kids get involved in the USA the faster they will get. Preparation of course has been a factor but in general the kids in the US are faster today than they were last year through practice and time on the saddle. These s
