What is your favourite Miss Marple book?

0

I have a soft spot for Miss Marple and, as with Hercule Poirot, love all the stories in which she is featured. They are all good, including those mentioned as well as Sleeping Murder, The Moving Finger and A Pocket Full of Rye. However, I believe my favorite might be Nemesis. I think A Caribbean Mystery should be read first, since Jason Rafiel is in that and in Nemesis he writes to Miss Marple asking her to solve an old mystery because of her work in the other story. It’s particularly good because of the reference to the Greek goddess of retribution. ***Edit: To Baked Goods (I like that name!), I have not seen that one. Was it any good? I haven’t watched these newer versions since I saw The Body in the Library, which changed so much that I actually disliked it. I was so disappointed! (I do think Joan Hickson couldn’t be beaten as Miss Marple, too, and wish they had done more while she was alive. Ah well…) By the way, I really enjoyed The Tuesday Club Murders, too.
