I just love Lord of the Rings. I can actually put myself in the movies and pretend I am one of the characters that help save the worlds.

The movie LadyHawke with Rutger Hauer. It is set in medieval times and revolves around a cardinal’s plot to keep two lovers from uniting. He has a sorcerer cast a spell on them so that the man travels as a wolf by night and the woman flies as a hawk by day. They travel together, so close but so far apart.  A young man befriends them both and with the help of an aging priest, the spell is broken.

My favorite movie, though I Love many, would have to be "A Time to Kill". A story about a little black who is raped and left for dead by southern racists during the time America was ignorant. The story begins when her father, after they find the men who tried killing his daughter, seeked revenge and killed both men as they were being transported for trial. A trial that would have ended in a not guilt verdict because of the racism that took over some people during that time. The movie takes you on a suspenseful emotional journey that will leave your eyes filled with tears by the end. I recommend that people take 2 hours to watch this movie, because it is truly wonderful.

The spaghetti western "For a Few Dollars More" is one of my all-time favorites. Released in 1965, it stars Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef as two gun slingers, both searching for the same bandit but for very different reasons. The sweeping landscapes and wonderful sound effects support the storyline to the full; the final showdown scene with the pocket watch music will keep viewers on the edge of their seats all the way to the end credits.
