What is your family doing to fight back against sky high fuel prices?
Our family try to be as prudent as possible to be able to combat high fuel prices. We are just lucky we live in a place where the church, school, shopping mall, parks, banks are a mere walking distance. So instead of taking the car or riding a public transportation we usually walk when doing some grocery or going to the office. We can save not only on gas but make our body fit too for walking is one of the best exercise. We also bought our daughter a bicycle so instead of taking the car, they can ride bikes to school. By going out in group example by going shopping, buy groceries and others. In this manner, we actually save fuel because we just use one car or vehicle in going out. My mom and dad also use one car in going to their respective work. My dad just drop and fetch my mom in her office. During school days we also use one car my dad drop us in school and also fetch us all. We have that mutual agreement with this kind of arrangement in order to minimize the budget for fuel consumption. We all have this idea of cost cutting in everything we do and buy.
