What is your experience with out of a box hair color remover? What products work best?
I tried to color my hair brown about six months ago and it turned out purple. I did a little research and ended up trying color oops. It took the color out, after I did a moisture rich conditioning treatment on my hair and was happy with the color so I let it be. A few days ago my mother did the same thing to her hair, so again we went to Walgreen’s and got Oops. (after she dyed her purple she went to the salon and they put brown on top of the purple so her hair was really dark). The oops striped the dye out of her hair but it wasn’t a consistent Color (i’m thinking that we didn’t put enough on her tips). but we dyed it again and all is well. Just don’t forget to condition or treat your hair after you are finished. This does put strain on your hair, so take care of it after you strip it.
