What is your definition of “good service” and “poor service” from a waiter/waitress in a casual restaurant?
Good service is a smile and friendly greeting. A sincere attempt to get our order correct. Drinks refilled prompty but not so often that I feel smothered or hovered around. Poor service makes me feel like I am a burden to be there. Poor service is standing at my tableside and telling me your life story while I am trying to eat. Poor service is not checking back to see if the order is correct or addressing the problem appropriately if there is one.
