What is you opinion of Nashville’s urban land use?
Over the last 25 years, I’ve been privileged to live and work in great cities like Dallas, Minneapolis and Columbus, and I think Nashville is an active champion dedicated to realizing the best use of land. Nashville has commitment, compassion and vision in the public, private, nonprofit and grassroots sectors, has a diverse economic base as the foundation to make things happen, and has the special gifts of natural resources in waterways, hilltops and green spaces. Nashville also has a diverse population, and strong higher education and arts communities. All of these factors serve to position Nashville to continue its attention to smart growth, good guided change, respect for the past while meeting the needs of the present, and striving for responsible dynamic vision for the future in the use of land throughout Nashville and the region.
