What is WVS-SWE?
The Willamette Valley Section (WVS) was chartered in 1997 and covers the mid-Willamette Valley from Salem to Eugene. Although our section is relatively small (typically 30-40 paying members) it is extremely vital. Programs have been added every year, so please take a look at our events section. The Girl Scouts program that was started in 2002 has really taken off and we are planning many Girl Scout events this year. We will be hosting our annual National Engineer’s Week Banquet, giving monetary awards for the essay contest as well as our scholarship, and coordinating monthly programs for both members and non-members. We provide a full schedule of career guidance (outreach to elementary, middle school, high school and college women) and professional development (programs directed at the professional members) activities.
