The Workplace Skills Initiative (WSI) is a federal contributions program which funds projects that test and evaluate promising, partnership-based, outcomes-focused approaches to skills development and human resource practices for employers and employed Canadians. The WSI encourages employers to invest in the skills of their employees and informs Government of Canada labour market policy and programming.
