What is wrong with the Kevin Rudd government?
Rudd is doing well in the polls, and it’s a situation comparable to that of Barack Obama. A politician presents some new ideas, doesn’t mean he’ll get them done within 2 years. He has already made some environmental reforms, and he wrote and read an apology to the lost generations (the indigenous peoples of Australia whose lives were turned upside down by the population of Australia and the technological advances provided. He has implemented a plan to keep inflation as low as possible, and it seems to be working reasonably well. The people you heard some of these comments from may in fact be focusing on one small part of the government and its leader as a whole. It’s hard to do things as a one man band in two years with such a diverse country like Australia. I personally think he’s done quite well based on the situation he came into. I give him a 7.5/10 as PM down under.
