What is wrong with the Christian creeds, such as the Nicene and Apostles Creeds?
These creeds are surprisingly accurate in their description of Jesus position as eternal Lord of mankind. The relationship between Christ and the Father is not easily put into words. Sometimes, it is correct to refer to them as different individuals. At other times, it is appropriate to speak of them as being the same. Their relationship is mysterious and not something that mere humans will ever be able to comprehend. Only Jesus and the Father know their true relationship. How can we hope to know it, who are Gods creatures, not Creators as they truly are? The creeds, however, cut out non-believers, non-Christians, from salvation and this is something that has been added to Jesus statements; He did not say such things. They assert that baptism, which is a mere ritual splash of water intended by Christ to be symbolic of inner cleansing, is in itself a purifying action.
