What is wrong with my turtles shell?

Shell rot is an infection of a turtle’s shell. The turtle’s environment may have caused the infection. Check for one or more of the following: • Too much moisture • Too little moisture • Unsanitary conditions • Improper diet • Improper heat • Improper light It is wise to research the needs of the turtle and create an environment to meet those needs.
