What is wrong with my cherry tree?

0

I have a older cherry tree that bears big black cherries, over the years I have sprayed a lime/oil mixture when the tree is sleeping in January. Our cherry tree drops its cherries even while green, we get about 50 pounds of cherries from this tree, so I think it’s natures natural selection of the best fruit that stays on the tree, as far as the cherries being mushy i am not sure. I do know cherry trees do not like their leaves getting wet, the fruit will rot faster too if wet too often.
