That is your computer’s modem. When looking at the winipcfg command, you can recognize the “PPP Adapter” by either the name and/or the “ethernet address”. A modem has the pseudo-address of 44:45:53:54:00:00. NT RAS modems use a 16-bit address beginning with 52:41:53:20 (ie, “RAS ” in ASCII).
