What is WRAS?
WRAS – Water Regulation Adivisory Scheme – is an organisation set up to promote knowledge of the Water Regulations required throughout the UK. If you have a WRAS approved water cooler, this means that it is up to the standard required by your local water utility compnay, the same applies to any fittings used on the mains water pipework. Some companies use cheap imported water coolers that have not been WRAS tested. A WRAS approved cooler gives you the “peace of mind” that you are using a suitable product, as required by your local water company’s bylaws.
