What is worship like at John Knox Presbyterian Church?
At a time when many churches divide their congregations by distinguishing between contemporary and traditional styles of worship, we at John Knox Presbyterian Church make no such distinction. We pride ourselves on maintaining our unity as we combine a variety of styles that enhance worship and glorify God. We believe all worship should be contemporary all worship should speak to 21st century Christians in ways that are meaningful. And, we believe, all worship should be traditional well grounded in the traditions of the historic Christian church. After all, we’re not the first people to be Christian! We rely on a received faith that has been passed down through the ages. We have a healthy respect for the past, but we are not locked into old ways of doing things, including worship! Our worship at John Knox Presbyterian Church is a faithfully healthy mix of new and old. Our worship is an experiential event where both hearts and minds are spoken to and challenged.
