What is Wiremold doing to improve the environment?
Wiremold has a long history of efforts to reduce its impact on the environment. Many of these efforts are a direct result of Wiremolds commitment to Lean manufacturing with its obsessive focus on reducing waste. For example; packaging has been redesigned to include containerboard with higher recycled content and to eliminate non-biodegradable packing materials, many products are shipped directly to the job site reducing packaging and staging required for individual components, high efficiency lighting has been installed in production facilities, and products are produced just-in-time reducing unnecessary inventory.
