What is Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC)?
A. The WZC service is built into the Windows XP operating system. The Microsoft WZC service is designed to dynamically select the wireless network to which it will attempt a connection, based either on your preferences or on default settings. This includes the automatic selection and connection to a more preferable wireless network when it becomes available. The WZC service is not installed by default during a Windows XP installation.
