A. The Workforce Investment Act is a federal program, administered at the local level, to help people who are unemployed or underemployed obtain or retain employment. Services include access to job listings, career information, labor market information, and information on services available in the community through the partners located in OneStop Workforce Centers. To learn more about career counseling and job training programs offered through the Workforce Investment Act, contact your local OneStop Workforce Center.
