What Is Wenge Veneer?
Wenge is a highly exotic tropical hardwood from Africa. It is very dense, and is very dark brown in color, it appears almost black. On the quarter sawn surface, fine pencil-thin light tan lines interspersed with blackish brown stripes make the surface appear like it has been stroked by the fine claws of a wild tiger.
