What is web-based education?
“Web-based education” encompasses a broad variety of educational approaches that utilize the Internet and communication technologies. These approaches range from using the Internet as a research tool to taking online classes at a virtual high school. Web-based education also includes communication between teachers, students, and parents via email or electronic message boards, publication of student work on the web, and online teacher support.
