What is weather like in Tibet ?
Tibetan weather is famously extreme indeed, the winters can be excruciatingly harsh, while the summers can also be hot. Lhasa is less intense than some areas of Tibet , though you should still be prepared for very cold winters and hot summer. Required Clothing In summer, lightweight clothing and rainwear is recommended as well as warmer clothing for the evenings (light jacket and/or light sweaters). In winter, you should bring clothing that will keep you warm through these very cold months. A solid pair of walking shoes is highly recommended for trekking.
