What is Wayne State University like?
Wayne State’s main campus consists of over 100 buildings connected by landscaped pedestrian malls in the heart of Detroit’s New Center area. The campus incorporates many architectural gems, including the McGregor Memorial Conference Center, St. Andrew’s Hall, a turn of the Century Episcopal Church, and the recently renovated Victorian structure “Old Main,” the site where Detroit Junior College first began offering classes in 1917. The campus map shows the location of all main buildings, parking structures, and freeways.
