What Is Wave Properties Of Reflection?
The property of a wave to bounce back after striking another medium is known as reflection. The angle which is formed by a wave with normal at the point of incidence, is known as angle of incidence and the angle formed, after reflection, with normal is known as angle of reflection. There are two laws of reflection. Firstly, the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection. Secondly, the angle of incident, angle of reflection and normal to the second medium at incident point are coplanar.
