What is/was the Health Services Restructuring Commission (HSRC)?
The HSRC was established in April 1996 with a four-year mandate to : make decisions on restructuring Ontario’s public hospitals, and make recommendations to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care on reinvestments in and restructuring of other parts of the health system and other changes required to support restructuring generally, and to improve the health services system in the province. The HSRC completed its mandate and was closed March 28, 2000. See the link to view its archived reports.
