What is Walt Schulzs experience in the design of shallow draft boats?
Since 1975 Walt has designed all the Shannon sail and motor yachts, ranging in size from 28′ to 53′. During this period, Shannon has been acknowledged as one of the world’s top cruising boat building companies, and Walt’s designs have sailed the entire globe to critical acclaim. As so many of the best cruising areas like the Bahamas, Florida, the Chesapeake and northern Europe are shallow, Walt’s Shannon bluewater hull designs are mostly keel/centerboard configurations engineered for rugged use.
