The Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is a special district responsible for public transportation, congestion management, special highway improvement projects, and countywide transportation planning for Santa Clara, California, USA. The VTA was formed in 1995 by a merger of the Santa Clara County Transit District and the County Congestion Management Agency.
