What is VPN (Virtual Private Network)?
VPN is the abbreviation for Virtual Private Network. VPN also allows two offices to be linked together across the Internet and the resources can be shared by all the desktops as if the two offices are part of a LAN (Local Area Network). Usually, this type of VPN is called IPSec VPN. VPN allows traveling employees to connect to the office network through the Internet and access all the resources as if the employees are part of the LAN (Local Area Network). Usually, this type of VPN is called PPTP-VPN. Note: VPN is included in GW400, GW600 but is an optional feature for GW500 or GW700.
