What is VoIP identity theft?
VoIP identity theft occurs when an unauthorized third party obtains a user name and password and uses it to place calls at the expense of the legitimate account owner. In some cases, the third party may mislead other call participants into believing that the unauthorized third party is in fact the legitimate account owner.
