It is group of the team members which are connected through internet with each other and work on different projects. They are not physically present at the same place. The purpose of this virtual linkage is to communicate with each other, share knowledge from each other and carry their operations virtually. There can be different number of people who may be working through the virtual platforms. For example a virtual team can discuss the project overview by using the virtual system. The advantage of the virtual team is that the person with the long distance can communicate with each other so that they can share ideas with each other.
