What is Version Cue?
Adobe Version Cue CS2 is an enhanced version control and file-sharing utility that made its debut with the first version of Adobe Creative Suite. Version Cue helps individual users and workgroups streamline file management by letting designers track files, manage changes, and preserve iterations of files from within a familiar Adobe environment. Thumbnail previews let you find files at a glance, and a versatile find feature lets you search for files based on criteria such as author, keyword, last modified date, or even comments included with each version. Everybody in a workgroup can see in real time which files co-workers have open and when files are completed without leaving his or her design tools.
