What is verbatim or deposition style transcription?
Verbatim means every word and sound uttered is transcribed exactly as spoken. The purpose of this style of transcription is to give the reader the ability to determine the tone or tenor of a conversation by referring to a hard copy document, rather than by listening to a recording. To ensure overall quality and readability in this format, each of our Transcriptionists is specifically trained in the verbatim style we have developed. Additionally, every document is reviewed by a member of our Quality Control staff to ensure each Transcriptionist produces ongoing and consistent quality.
