What is Verbal Intelligence?
Verbal intelligence is how a child is able to understand the meaning of words and as she gets older, her ability to speak and write words as well as being able to learn more complicated language structures ranging from sentences to books. It also relates to the ability to see relationships and connections in words such as “Car and wheel, bird and …” Verbal intelligence has been assumed to be static in the past but it can actually be improved on over the years.
