What is Verbal Harssment, and what is not Verbal Harassment?
There is a tremendous amount of variety in the meaning and interpretation of words. A comment that one individual finds offensive may be considered by another to be perfectly normal and fine. At the same time however, there do exist many words and phrases which are generally considered to be rude and offensive. Our Verbal Harassment policies have been created to try and strike the best possible balance between allowing players to communicate as they wish, while at the same time maintaining as playable and enjoyable of a game world as possible. Whether or not one player’s actions toward another qualify as Verbal Harassment is largely dependant on both the situation surrounding the actions, and the manner in which the “harassed” player chooses to react.
