What is VCU Life Sciences?
• The term “Life Sciences” includes all of the academic disciplines that touch on biological life, but life sciences also combines the study of the inter-relationships among all the components of biological life from molecular mechanisms to the environment to human values. Scientists have termed this “biological complexity.” The overarching vision for VCU Life Sciences is the study of biological complexity.
