What is Variable Data Printing (“VDP”)?
VDP allows you to print custom messages on marketing materials – print your customer’s name in the greeting line, print a special offer for each customer, print a special message based on your customer’s location, etc. This allows certain areas of your print piece to have “variable” data, or data that varies by customer or customer type. (The non-variable data is that which every customer sees.) VDP is a great way to specialize your print materials to give them that customized look for your customer!
