What is Vacuum Packing and how are the herbal formulas cooked?
Vacuum Packing Technology has been utilized by Chinese and South Korean TCM facilities for many years. It allows the packing of prepared herbal teas to be preserved for an extended period of time without the use of preservatives or chemicals. When kept at room temperature, they can be preserved for thirty days. When kept in a refrigerator, they can be preserved up to sixty days. Herbal Formulas are cooked in a closed unit stainless steel pressure cooker that prevents the loss of volatile oils as in conventional cooking.
