What is v4.2 ICE and what is changing?
A Patent Grant Data/XML v4.2 ICE and Patent Application Data/XML v4.2 ICE Beginning Thursday, February 1, 2007 there will be an 8 week parallel process (February 1, 2007 through March 29, 2007) for both patent grants and patent published applications. This parallel process will include the new Red Book ICE DTD version 4.2 and the current production Red Book ICE DTD version 4.1. The weekly output from the new Red Book ICE DTD version 4.2 process will be created the day after the issue date of the production process (Red Book ICE DTD version 4.1) and be disseminated on DVD-ROM via FedEx.
