Not sure if they found plastic strips like that or made them. You could make them though in several ways. Either start with (fairly stiff) strips of plastic, or do the following if you only have one larger piece of plastic (let’s say it’s a rectangle to make the description eaiser): …lay lengths of tape (in white or any color you want, perhaps masking tape) on the rectangle widthwise, leaving as much space between the “stripes” of tape as the tape is wide …using a ruler, mark lines *across* the stripes (again as wide as the tape is) …then cut the plastic rectangle into strips along those marked lines (they should then look like the ones in the pic, though you may have to tape end to end or overlap or something to make them longer …to attach each part to the end of the long plastic blocks, looks like they may have put a brass paper fastener (we used to call them brads) through a hole or slit in the plastic (use a hole puncher or Xacto knife, etc) and into the plastic block, or p
