What is USCIRF’s “Watch List,” and what countries are included on this list?

0

USCIRF has established a Watch List of countries in which religious freedom conditions do not rise to the statutory level that would mandate a CPC designation but require close monitoring due to the nature and extent of violations of religious freedom engaged in or tolerated by governments. USCIRF has placed the following 12 countries on the Watch List for 2010: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Laos, Russia, Somalia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Venezuela.
