What is up with MY french teachers ?
Yes I feel your pain. I was one of the best students in my class but the teacher didn’t like me much at all I found out. In fact I would have to say she was terribly demeaning to me. I later found out that she may have liked the students who sucked up to her. That was not my style. My style was trying to do the best I could in the class. I won the French award in both years I had with her but I think it made no difference to her. My French teacher was more into being popular than actually trying to guide our learning. Needless to say my proficiency in French is poor today, due to the fact I had no sincere instruction. Same goes for when I took it in college. O well sorry to be so down.
