Unprimed fabric also known as greige/grey/natural fabric is one that has not been treated after being woven. That is, it is “loom-state”. b) Primed fabric is one that has been coated or “primed” with layers of acrylic gesso or other primers. It is then ready for stretching/painting. c) Processed fabric is fabric that has gone through bleaching/dyeing & other finishing processes.
