What is unique about Total Martial Arts at Bally Total Fitness?
TMA Masters are the very lifeblood of the martial arts program here at Bally. The vast majority of our Masters hail from the Republic of South Korea and hold four-year degrees from the most prestigious martial arts universities in Korea. These universities often require elite junior high school and high school competition records for admittance, on top of grueling and fiercely competitive entrance exams. International competition experience among our Masters is common, and our Masters have dedicated their lives to the study and pursuit of excellence in the martial arts. Masters of our staff are internationally certified through the World Taekwondo Federation, which is the worldwide governing body of Taekwondo.
