The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows (ENF) program is an advanced leadership program for nurses in senior executive roles who aspire to lead and shape the U.S. health care system of the future. The three-year fellowship is an in-depth, comprehensive leadership development program. The program is structured to acknowledge the unique education and life experiences of experienced executive nurses. The fellowship goes beyond the scope of traditional executive MBA-type programs by focusing on five core leadership competencies (e.g., self-knowledge, inspiring and leading change, strategic vision, risk taking and creativity, and interpersonal and communication effectiveness).
