What is UMP and how is it administered?
Uniform Medical Plan is a preferred provider health plan managed by the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) through the Public Employees Benefits Board. The plan serves state and public employees and retirees and their dependents. While the state manages the plan, administrative services contractors provide operational features such as claims processing, customer service, and elements of the provider network.
