What is UK Fuel Poverty?
UK Fuel poverty is defined by a household that spends more than 10% of their annual income on their total fuel bills, in order for them to heat their home to an adequate standard. This standard taken from the World Health Organisation who say that the temperature should be 21°C in the main living room and 18°C in other occupied rooms during daytime hours, with lower temperatures at night.
