What is UCSC SlugMail for Students?
UCSC SlugMail is a new and improved email service for UCSC students powered by Google, Inc. Starting September 2009, enrolled students can sign up for UCSC SlugMail powered by Google, and enjoy the benefits of Google’s superior interface, spam filtering, search capabilities, built-in chat, and collaboration tools such as shared documents and calendar. Students who sign up for SlugMail will continue using their @ucsc.edu email address. In September, students have a choice – either sign up for SlugMail or continue using the CruzMail web client. Both options allow students to use their existing @ucsc.edu email address.
