What is UCF technology? How does it work?
UCF technology comprises two parts: 1) portable and multiple documents, which support PowerPoint animations and transitions 2) UCF multimedia The following describes UCF multimedia, which is new in this release. Portable and multiple documents are already provided in Meeting Center 5.0. A plug-in to PowerPoint allows you to very quickly and easily insert rich media content into PowerPoint slides through a hyperlink mechanism. The PowerPoint file is then converted to UCF when you import it into any WebEx services session. Each media content type has an associated viewer for example, the Flash player plays Flash files, and the Windows Media Player plays audio and video files. For each media file, the presenter controls the corresponding media viewers on all participants computers, using a set of controls provided by the WebEx control panel within the corresponding UCF object.
